About the clubs getting ready for the Hawaiki Nui, some of them make some optimisation on their va'a and other ones equip themself with new equipments. For example, the club "Moua Tamaiti No Papara" which test their new va'a in the Venus Race after the blessing by the deacon Tainoa MAURITERA also paddler in the club as a veteran.

Built in 3 weeks by Mr. Rodolphe APUARII, assisted by Philippe MAUI and Raimanu TAMA, this V6 baptized “AUTEA 3” of the name of a well-known fish of the Polynesian fishermen will be ready for the november 10th according to the manufacturers.  They are currently making some adjustments. Hoping that their Autea (carangue) will be able to make its way between the many other va'as in competition in the race.
